I'm Liliana Fiorelli,<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Roman actress, author, and creative.<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t

I say \u201ccreative\u201d because over the years I've realized that just one definition feels a bit restrictive: I act, I write, I design, I teach, I invent formats, I follow artistic paths, and every now and then I even try to put order to it all with enthusiasm and determination. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

I graduated in Performing Arts and Sciences from La Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis dedicated to Marilyn Monroe and Anna Magnani: two women, two icons, two huge stage presences, capable of navigating complex production systems without losing their strength. In essence, that's where one of my happiest obsessions began: telling about not-so-strong and imperfect identities, humans who don't easily fit into boxes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

My training has spanned theater and film, from Italy to the United States: I studied acting, method, body, voice, improvisation, and scenic writing. I attended the Professional Actors Program at Studio De Fazio, and with a scholarship, I took an intensive Method Acting course with David Lee Strasberg in Los Angeles. I was a tutor at the Gian Maria Volont\u00e8 Film School, and over the years, I've continued to seek out useful tools, mentors, and practices. Meeting the Chubbuck Technique - and Ivana Chubbuck herself - was electrifying! Because yes, talent is beautiful, but without work, it risks becoming fragile decoration.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

At the cinema, I've had the good fortune to work with directors such as Paolo Virz\u00ec, Sergio Castellitto, Pietro Castellitto, Massimiliano Bruno, Edoardo Leo, Bruno Oliviero, Karen Di Porto, Giancarlo Fontana, and Giuseppe G. Stasi. I've taken part in films such as Confused and happy<\/em>, Fortunata<\/em>, Welcome back, Mr. President!<\/em>, The Predators<\/em>, Drought<\/em>, The Best Days<\/em>, The Worst Days<\/em>, Another Ferragosto<\/em> e The Big Boccia<\/em>. <\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

In 2023, I received the Kineo Award for Best Supporting Actress for The Best Days<\/em> during the 80th Venice International Film Festival: one of those things you say \u2019how nice,\u201c then you go home and the next day you still have to do laundry and answer emails.

On television, I've explored very different worlds: from web comedy with Le Coliche and Never say Talk<\/em> of Gialappa's Band Those who love soccer<\/em>, up to the seriality of We<\/em>, Police<\/em>, A promise<\/em>, All we have left is crime<\/em> e The Sold Out Apartment<\/em>, in which I play Luisa. I like to inhabit different registers: comedy, drama, the grotesque, the popular, the intimate. Lightness, when done well, truly has its weight.<\/strong>

In addition to my work as an interpreter, I've always pursued writing. I conceived and wrote the web series Prima Donnas<\/em>, produced by Disparte, Eppela, and Infinity Mediaset, and over the years I've continued to develop projects in which comedy meets the female, political, sentimental, and sometimes even slightly quirky perspective\u2014which is often my favorite.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

At the theater, I took part in Girl in the Machine<\/em> by Stef Smith, as part of the festival Trend - New Frontiers of British Drama<\/em>, and I wrote with Gianni Corsi Notable<\/em>, a special project for the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia dedicated to women composers in the history of music. It's a project I care about a lot, because I'm interested in anything that sheds light where history, through distraction or comfortable habit, has left shadows.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

In recent years, I've combined my acting career with training and creative coaching. I work with actresses, actors, performers, and young creatives on stage presence, audition preparation, building professional materials, and, more generally, on that very complicated thing: understanding who you are artistically without being crushed by the market, expectations, or the panic of \u201cI have to be everything at once.\u201d.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

I have acting workshops, I work in schools, I facilitate expressive and educational programs. I'm interested in theater as an artistic tool, of course, but also as a space for self-awareness: a place where the body, the word, emotion, and identity can finally stop asking for permission.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

At the heart of my work, there's always the same urgency: tell humans<\/strong>. Not perfect, not polished, not always winning. People who stumble, desire, resist, make you laugh, make mistakes, start over.
I'm interested in that area where comedy meets melancholy, where a joke can open a crack, where something personal manages - miraculously - to speak to others as well.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t
